This hotel was one of the most peaceful and relaxing places we found on our trip, very close to the city of Mendocino. The atmosphere was calm and quiet, perfect for resting and enjoying nature. Everything was very clean, comfortable, and pleasant, and we truly loved our stay. A wonderful place to disconnect and recharge — highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay in the Carriage House - cozy dwelling that is dog friendly, has a wood stove, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and a ton of charm. The wide slat wood floors creek a lot, but as long as you’re not trying to sneak out it doesn’t matter. When we arrived there was a generous display of items for our puppy - toys, poop bags, a dog towel to clean their feet. Really well though out accommodation.
We absolutely loved our stay. It was the perfect location. It had charm; we felt appreciated and respected. The room was wonderfully clean and provided us everything we needed . The Duro flame log was perfect as we lit that and enjoyed the ambience with a glass of wine. We truly are grateful and appreciate the small touches which add up to a wonderful experience. We highly recommend this adorable spot. Check it out for yourself. You won’t be disappointed.
I would 100% stay here again. The property is very charming and the room was incredibly comfortable. The Victorian style is done in a tasteful way, and it's mostly just historic feeling. The tea in the front house is really good, bed/bathroom were welcoming and the room had a really nice smell to it. It's a gem and pretty affordable compared to a lot of other options around.
Our first time to Mendocino was fabulous! Our lovely room at Dennen's Victorian Farmhouse was wonderful and made our visit really special! It was so cozy and charming! We couldn't of asked for a better place to stay! We throughly enjoyed every minute of our time here! Mendocino should be on everybody's bucket list!
Spacious, comfortable, and good location. Staff was friendly and responsive. Room was nice and had everything we needed with a nice garden view with small terrace. The fireplace and bathtub were nice too
Hard to start anywhere but with a wow for the Carriage House room! It looks like the photo but better! So spacious and so nicely decorated! Total class. A welcome wine bottle with glasses greeted us and comfy beds for our two pups along with a towel for them, doggie poop bags and a toy. I wasn’t expecting all the extra amenities along with very responsive hosts. We will definitely return to enjoy this place so close to Mendocino. I should mention our bed was super comfy as well!
This was such a pleasant surprise. We booked our room and shorty before our stay got a call from Michael, who asked for the dogs names. We appreciated the details We came to a beautifully decorated room with some gifts for our furry friends and a hand written note. The room was bigger than we anticipated and we really loved it. Private, clean, and with a cool history (ours was previously a chicken coup). While staying there we were assisted by Dylan, who exemplifies white glove service. We enthusiastically recommend staying here.
